Biography:

Nick Moore is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Telecommunications and Information Engineering (CTIE). He completed a Bachelor of Science in 1996, and subsequently worked as a systems manager, developer and consultant specializing in Linux, Perl and other Open Source system components.

He joined CTIE in 2001, to work on fast handover strategies for IPv6, involving implementation of protocols in the Linux kernel and proposing and editing documents in the IETF IPv6 Working Group, and participation in other IETF and IRTF Working Groups.

More recently, his research has focussed on techniques for mesh network routing, including simulation and peer-reviewed publication. He is currently working towards a Masters of Engineering Science in this area.

Nick's work is funded by the Australian Telecommunications CRC (ATcrc))

Greg Daley and I have implemented Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 for Linux. This code is now available for download.
